Bob Cascella of Danbury-based Goodfellow Commercial Real Estate recently executed leases for four new tenants in more than 8,000 square feet of space at Highland Plaza, 123 South Main St., Newtown. He cited “a lot of activity from a variety of end users” in the commercial real estate marketplace.
The leases include Yoga Dimensions”™ 1,250 square feet, Soho Pizza”™s 2,500 square feet, Core Fitness Health Club”™s 2,970 square feet and Medi Spa”™s 1,850 square feet.
Cascella provided tenant representation. Goodfellow is the exclusive broker for Highland Plaza.
“I am pleased with the amount of leasing activity we have had this year at Highland Plaza,” Cascella said. “Signing four leases within six months in one shopping center has made the owners quite happy and the local economic development office is very excited. The new tenants are all in a growth mode either taking larger space than they previously occupied or in the case of Soho Pizza, this will be a second location.
“In addition to these four new tenants, we have had a lot of activity from a variety of end users,” he said. “Hopefully this is a sign that the local economy and commercial real estate are stabilizing.”
