 
In a $33 million project, the former Park City Hospital in Bridgeport will be renovated into 110 units of affordable housing.
The project is being managed by the Bridgeport Housing Authority and the Boston-based Women”™s Institute for Housing and Economic Development, which also has an office in Middletown.
The organizations plan to create an apartment complex for low-income and disabled households called the Franklin, and a second complex called the Eleanor for senior citizens.
The project helps satisfy BHA’s obligation to replace some of the housing from the former Father Panik Village, which was torn down between 1986 and 1993. The 110 new units bring the number of needed replacement units down to 140, from more than 1,000 originally.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Lupert Adler hired Norwalk-based Building & Land Technology to manage several commercial properties in Stamford formerly managed by Antares Investment Partners.
The properties under BLT management include Stamford Harbor Park on Ludlow Street; Clearwater House on Atlantic Street; Stamford Harbour Square on Canal Street, Holly Pond Plaza on East Main Street; 1 Dock St.; 600 Summer St.; and Stamford Landing.
BLT and Philadelphia-based Lupert Adler are currently developing Harbor Point, a 6 million-square-foot mixed-use project on Stamford Harbor.
