Fairfield University is joining the other 27 Jesuit schools in the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities in a campaign showcasing the value of a Jesuit education to welcome Pope Francis to the United States.
The AJCU, based in Washington, D.C., serves as a liaison between the Jesuit institutions and serves to foster nationwide collaboration.
Aspects of Fairfield University”™s #JesuitEducated campaign include social media, hosting events across campus focused on Pope Francis”™ visit to New York, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia this September, as well as through a Campus Ministry sponsored trip to the Papal Mass on Sept. 27 in Philadelphia.
Part of the campaign includes a series of articles on blog publishing platform, medium.com, about stories of experiences in Jesuit education. Fairfield University is actively contributing a weekly blog post written by a variety of members in its community.
