BRIDGEPORT – The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District (DSSD) will open the Arcade Winter Market starting Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Arcade Mall.
The first annual market will be open from 3 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Thursdays and 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturdays through Dec. 20, except for the week of Thanksgiving. The market will include warm drinks, artisan gifts, fresh produce, local bites, music, activities, and spaces for people to connect.
“We love to connect community members with their favorite vendors and craft makers, local farmers, talented Bridgeport musicians, and thought-provoking programming for all ages,” Bridgeport DSSD President and CEO Lauren Coakley Vincent said that. “The Arcade Winter Market will establish and grow a destination to taste and experience the creativity of local entrepreneurs, welcome visitors, and encourage people to explore the neighborhood we know and love.”
The Winter Market season will kick off next Thursday with live music from indie singer and song writer Chris Cavaliere, engaging arts activities led by Robin Gilmore Jopp. A full schedule of vendors, performers, arts activities, entrepreneur meet ups, and other programming is available at colorfulbridgeport.com/signature-events.
