Arizona-based Amazing Lash Studio has awarded its Connecticut franchise region to a pair of franchising veterans who will open 16 locations in the state.
Elyse and Chris Pedersen will also open two Amazing Lash studios on Long Island, N.Y.
The company did not release a breakdown of how many studios will be in Fairfield County.
According to a statement accompanying the announcement, “Amazing Lash Studio provides semipermanent eyelash extensions in comfortable, contemporary studios that are conveniently located in retail shopping centers.”
The company was founded in Scottsdale in 2010 by Edward and Jessica Le, “with the vision to raise the bar on the eyelash extension industry,” the company reported. It went national as a franchise option in 2014.
The Pedersens”™ franchise experience includes work with the Massage Envy, Orangetheory Fitness and European Wax Center franchise systems.
“My passion for franchising and owning my own business grew and I became a European Wax Center franchisee,” Elyse Pedersen said in the announcement. “Two years later I purchased an Orangetheory Fitness franchise and the development rights to Long Island.”
