It’s time to ‘Carpe Diem” or “Seize the Day” – the theme of this year’s luncheon and fashion show supporting the Greenwich-based Breast Cancer Alliance, which has earned national recognition for millions raised for breast cancer research and mammograms for the underserved.
The event, which will be held Oct. 25 at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, features a welcome by Lara Spencer, co-anchor of “Good Morning America,” and a keynote by the show’s executive producer, Simone Swink. As always there will be a fashion show by a top designer, with Kiton doing the honors this year, and not a dry eye in the house as BCA Models of Inspiration, breast cancer survivors all, take to the runway in fashions supplied by Richards in Greenwich. Cocktails provided by Ripe Bar Juice and Empire Merchants, lunch, a raffle and silent and live auctions complete one of the biggest social events of the season.
