On April 15, 2026, Montefiore Nyack Hospital will offer free health screenings for prostate cancer, lung cancer, and osteoarthritis to underscore the importance of preventive medicine.
“Early detection is the best protection when it comes to evaluating and treating identified conditions,” said Montefiore Nyack Hospital Chief Medical Officer, Anthony Matejicka, DO, MPH, FACP. “We are proud to offer these health screenings to the community.”

Board-certified physicians and Medical Practitioners at Montefiore Nyack Hospital will provide a personal screening lasting 10–15 minutes. They will then review the results and provide guidance on next steps.
Registration is required, and all participants must be at least 21 years old. Free parking will be available in the parking lot or the garage.
