Fairfield University has hired Dr. Steven Gstalder, as chief information officer and vice president for information technology, effective April 24.
Gstalder was most recently the vice president for library and information technology services at Albertus Magnus College. Earlier in his career, he was vice president and corporate officer, chief information officer and editor at the Kraus Organization Ltd. and its operating divisions Productivity Press, Worldwide Artbooks and Bernan Press.
“We welcome Dr. Gstalder to Fairfield and wish him success in his new role,” said Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration JoAnne Williams. “I am confident that he will lead our institution into the next phase of technology transformation and the creation of a student-centric and constituent-focused organization.”
