Wilton software developer Accelatis L.L.C. will announce tomorrow that it has been selected to receive $350,000 in new funding from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) through the state’s Small Business Express program.
Accelatis, whose clients include the likes of Kraft, General Electric, Stanley Black & Decker and others, provides software that monitors, manages and optimizes complex systems and applications for businesses.
The funds, which come in the form of a matching grant and a loan, will be used by Accelatis for the development and marketing of the company’s Ascension Suite of products for various enterprise software platforms. The funds will also allow Accelatis to hire four additional employees at its Wilton office.
Jonathan Berry, president and CEO of Accelatis, said in a statement that streamlining the management of enterprise applications adds to productivity and reliability.
“The impact of poorly performing enterprise applications is significant, and can range from user inconvenience to statutory reporting problems,” he said. “Companies rely upon Accelatis to help improve system performance and reliability for complicated environments.”
DECD Commissioner Catherine Smith said, “As an information technology company, Accelatis represents the sort of high-value, high-growth business that will help Connecticut lead the region”™s economic recovery.”
