The town of New Castle is hoping its businesses will get a big boost this weekend.
The Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to helping small businesses and their communities. Small Business Saturday is held in between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
“Our local businesses are owned by people who live in our community, and are more invested in our community”™s future,” Chamber President Robert Greenstein said.  “Our local businesses often provide better service. They have a better understanding of the products they are selling and take more time to get to know customers.”
Several Chappaqua restaurants are offering specials. Local is offering an $8 soup and salad lunch special, and any patron who shows a receipt from a Chappaqua retailer for $25 or more gets a free ice cream or beverage with an $8 purchase. Â La Jardin Du Roi is offering 15 percent off lunch items.
