Norwalk Community College will host more than 75 Connecticut businesses on Wednesday as part of the annual multi-chamber of commerce Regional Business Networking Expo.
“This is a rather special event,” said Brian Griffin, vice president of the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce. “It is a pretty rare occasion that all these chambers get together.”
The event is sponsored by several Fairfield County chambers of commerce including Darien, Fairfield, Greater Norwalk, Stamford, the Westport/Weston chamber and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.
Included in the several dozen businesses that will attend are Associated Community Brokers , Inc, Bridgeport Neighborhood Trust, Cablevision,  Drivers Unlimited, ENCON HVAC, Indeed, Norwalk Hospital, People”™s United Bank, Sacred heart University, TD Bank, University of Bridgeport, Wells Fargo and William Pitt Realty.
“This particular expo is an opportunity for members of the chambers that are involved to come together and network,” said Beverly Balaz, president of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. “The public is also invited to come in for free to meet with the exhibitors throughout the space.”
The event runs from 2 to 5 p.m. at Norwalk Community College”™s West Campus at 188 Richards Avenue in Norwalk.
