The Connecticut Innovation Ecosystem, now called CTNEXT, Â is seeking more ideas on how to assist entrepreneurs and jump start new companies.
Officials at the Department of Economic and Community Development and Connecticut Innovations put out a request for proposals (RFP) July 23 looking for ways to improve their programming. The two entities oversee CTNEXT, which has already engaged 5,000 people this year through entrepreneurial community events and new co-working spaces.
The RFP is looking for ways to help entrepreneurs grow their companies faster, connect with universities and large corporations and access capital, services and expertise. Any individual, company or nonprofit within or outside of the state is welcome to submit proposals.
Submissions are due Aug. 28.
