Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will present the keynote address at the fifth annual Connecticut Economic Forum, co-sponsored by the Connecticut chapters of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. The event is at Fairfield University”™s Dolan School of Business on Monday, Nov. 23, 3-8 p.m.
The forum will consist of two panels. The first, “Connecticut”™s Economic Outlook,” will be moderated by Charles F. Dolan School of Business Dean Donald E. Gibson, who also is a Dolan School of Business professor. Panelists will include Philip Lane, associate professor of economics, Dolan School of Business; and John Traynor, senior vice president and chief information officer, People’s United Bank.
The second panel, “The Challenges & Opportunities of Doing Business in Connecticut,” will be moderated by Commissioner Catherine Smith of the Connecticut Department of Economic & Community Development. Panelists will include Paul Soucy, chief financial officer of Carling Technologies; CEO Virginia P”™an of Yumi Eco Solutions; and Chad Burhance, partner, NewOak Credit Services.
