An 8,300-square-foot industrial building has been proposed for 3 Turnberry Lane at Curtis Corporate Park in Sandy Hook. 3 Turnberry Lane LLC, based in nearby Bethel, has submitted an application for the project to Newtown”™s Planning and Zoning Commission, having purchased the 1.01-acre lot in April for $130,000.
The P&Z commission is expected to review the application later this month. If approved, the building would hold four tenants, the largest of which ”“ Lawn Doctor LLC ”“ would occupy 3,000 square feet of commercial space and 800 square feet of office space. Three other spaces of 1,500 square feet each would also be available. The single-story structure would have two driveways and 26 parking spaces.
Curtis Corporate Park is a 13-lot industrial subdivision on 49 acres created by the Newtown P&Z in 2001.
