The Fairfield League of Women Voters is hosting a free public information meeting on the current status of the General Electric property, as well as possible future plans for developing it.
The meeting will take place on Saturday, April 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the town”™s Board of Education offices, located at 501 Kings Highway East.
Attending will be Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau; Fairfield Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart; and Ken Kleban, president of Kleban Properties, the developer that earlier this week announced an exclusive agreement with Fairfield University to potentially turn the property into a high-tech hub.
A question-and-answer period will follow the speakers”™ remarks.
