With a $100,000 state grant, Domack Restoration is hiring five people for its commercial restoration and roofing business.
Domack, which has 20 employees, is investing $250,000 of its own money to renovate a new and larger facility in Stratford where it is based.
The funding comes under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy”™s Small Business Express program. Other businesses receiving funding under the program include:
Ӣ Darter Specialties, Inc. of Cheshire, which produces apparel and documentation;
Ӣ FX Design Inc. of Glastonbury, an interior design firm;
”¢ Gilberties Restaurant L.L.C. of Colchester, which plans to open a second “Lazy Burrito” restaurant in Mystic; and
Ӣ HollyӪs Oatmeal Inc. of Torrington, which makes oatmeal.
