A collaboration between the University of Bridgeport and national campus bookstore operator Follet Higher Education saved students more than $1.9 million on textbooks and course materials in 2023 according to an August 8 press release.
The Follett Access program which University of Bridgeport provided students with all of their required course materials, textbooks, and supplies for free without increasing tuition or additional fee
With Follett Access colleges and universities directly purchase all required course materials and textbooks with tuition funds, but are able to leverage the volume and the use of digital materials access to do so at a much lower price point than individual students.
