Those who have unused clothes cluttering their closet or home may want to consider buying a ticket to The Exchange Project in Wilton.
The unique event allows participants to trade up to 10 current items by dropping them off at either Signature Style at 72 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton or at its 82 Roseville location in Westport by May 14. Then on May 16 at 6:30 those who have bought tickets can attend festivities at the Wilton location and select from items brought in by other participants.
In addition to any items traded, participants will receive a gift bag with exclusive products from local vendors, an educational talk from Wilton Go Green, and entry into a raffle for a custom beach tote.
When selecting items, The eXchange Project recommends the asking yourself the following: “Would my bestie want to borrow this? If the answer is YES, we will accept it to be part of the event. Please be mindful that any items that are outdated, damaged, or not in great condition will not be accepted for the exchange; however, we will happily donate them for you. Don’t have any items to drop off? No problem! All ticket purchases allow you to select three items during the swap!”
Items left over at the end of the event will be kept in circulation either be offered at future events or donated to a woman’s shelter.
