Stamford Health and Norwalk Radiology Consultants (NRC) announced on April 1 the formation of a new collaborative entity to be called Norwalk Radiology Consultants with Stamford Health.
The move cements a longstanding relationship between the two medical services providers. In 2021 NRC became the exclusive professional services provider for Stamford Health’s inpatient and outpatient imaging facilities. 148 East Avenue in Norwalk will be the home of the new joint venture, and begins by offering breast imaging services with plans to expand to other services in the near future.
“We are proud to be expanding our relationship with NRC,” said President of the joint venture Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer at Stamford Health Liz Longmore. “They have a longstanding and well-deserved reputation of offering expert, high-quality imaging services to the communities we serve.”
“Norwalk Radiology Consultants with Stamford Health will increase access to imaging services for the community,” said Ben Wade, joint venture Board member and Chief Strategy Officer at Stamford Health. “We look forward to providing patients in Norwalk and the surrounding towns with high-quality imaging and an excellent experience closer to home.”
