BROOKFIELD – Cingari Family Markets has begun to renovate its ShopRite of Brookfield store as part of an effort to keep the store up to date and in line with new aesthetic standards, according to one of its top executives.
“We are doing the renovations to keep our store up to date and in line with our long-time quality and new aesthetics standards,” said Tom Cingari Sr., president and CEO of Cingari Family Markets. “We want to give our Brookfield customers the brightest and best shopping experience that we can.
The renovation at the 143 Federal Road store, which Cingari has owned since 1996, comes 16 months after the longtime family-based supermarket company rebranded itself as Cingari Family Markets. It will feature a fresh, modern look, complete with interior and exterior upgrades. ShopRite of Brookfield will also offer a variety of new services and conveniences designed to enhance the customer experience.
The store will remain open throughout the renovation, with construction primarily taking place during overnight hours to minimize disruption to customers. A grand re-opening celebration is anticipated in December after renovations are complete, according to Cingari.
“Over the past few years, we’ve seen significant changes in how our customers shop and what they’re looking for in their grocery store experience,” Cingari said. “Shoppers are increasingly seeking fresh, prepared meals and more sustainable choices. This renovation is our way of responding to those shifts. We’ve listened to our customers, and these changes are a direct result of that feedback.”
The ShopRite of Brookfield renovation will introduce several new offerings including an expanded grab-and-go section, featuring a variety of take-and-bake seafood and meat options such as salmon, scallops, marinated and dry rubbed meats ready for the grill, and crab cakes.
Additionally, the renovation will feature an upgraded floral department capable of servicing any holiday or special occasion, along with reimagined produce, bakery, seafood, deli, meat, dairy, and frozen departments. The refreshed store will also enhance its prepared foods options, with more entrées and sides.
In line with the company’s sustainability goals, the store will incorporate energy-efficient refrigeration and freezer units, as well as lighted shelves throughout the aisles to improve visibility and customer experience.
“Our goal is to make grocery shopping a convenient and enjoyable experience for our customers,” Cingari said. “We’re confident that the new features and improvements at our ShopRite of Brookfield will exceed our customers’ expectations.”
