Boston-based Marcus Partners, real estate investors, operators and redevelopers with a Norwalk office, said recently UBS Financial Services Inc. has signed a full-floor, 19,217-square-foot lease for 10 years at 8 Wright St., Westport, a property owned by an affiliate of Marcus Capital Partners Fund II LP.
Since acquiring 8 and 10 Wright St. in October 2014, Marcus Partners has undertaken a $5 million renovation. The effort”™s centerpiece is the installation of new floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Saugatuck River and Westport Center.
Other upgrades are to lobbies, restrooms, elevators, landscape, paving, entrances, signage, parking decks and mechanical systems.
The 8 Wright Street and adjacent 10 Wright Street properties jointly contain 84,000 square feet of office space and now have 18,300 square feet remaining available for lease.
Marcus Partners was represented in the transaction by Adam Klimek, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield. UBS Financial Services was represented by Steve Baker, executive director at Cushman & Wakefield. Cushman & Wakefield Inc. maintains 248 offices around the world, including on Washington Boulevard in Stamford.
