O”™Connor Davies LLP, a national accounting and consulting firm with a regional office in Harrison, completed its fifth expansion deal this year with the recent acquisition of Grubman Anand PC, a tax and auditing firm in Bethesda, Md., that specializes in affordable housing.
The deal brings O”™Connor Davies into the Washington, D.C., metro market. A spokeswoman said it is the fifth merger with a highly specialized firm that O”™Connor Davies has completed in the last 10 months. In the last two years, the firm, headquartered in New York City, has grown from 399 professionals to more than 550, she said.

Grubman Anand”™s work for more than three decades in the affordable housing sector includes low-income housing tax credit partnerships, properties assisted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and other government-subsidized and supportive housing entities.
With the acquisition, O”™Connor Davies has eight offices in four states.
