Fairfield”™s Patriot National Bank has officially changed its name to Patriot Bank following a “top-to-bottom” rebranding focused on local communities.
Fairfield-based Patriot National Bancorp Inc., the bank”™s parent company, made the announcement earlier this week.
Headquartered in Stamford, the company operates seven branches throughout Fairfield County as well as two in Bedford and Scarsdale in Westchester County.
“Patriot Bank”™s new name better reflects what our customers and neighbors have depended upon since 1994; a trusted and involved community bank,” Kenneth Neilson, president and chief executive officer of Patriot Bancorp, Inc., said.
According to Patriot officials, the new identity comes at a time of strong earnings growth and momentum for the company resulting from a sharp focus on its products and services in local communities.
The bank has also unveiled a new website, BankPatriot.com, along with the remodeling of bank branches beginning with the grand opening of the company”™s Darien community banking center Oct. 7.
