Bank of America recently announced another round of donations to southern Connecticut nonprofits. Year to date, the banking giant has donated $1.1 million to organizations addressing hunger, shelter, long-term financial wellness, support housing, workforce development and education.
“The Southern Connecticut nonprofits we”™re partnering with are nothing short of a lifeline for countless individuals and families,” said Bill Tommins, Bank of America’s market president of southern Connecticut, in a press release. “These funds will help them continue their critical mission, and expand their services for an even greater impact.”
The funding is a part of Bank of America’s corporate social responsibility strategy to help create economically vibrant regions and communities.
