Aduromed Industries Inc. has raised an additional $1 million in financing, while hiring Scott Grisanti as chief executive officer.
The Bethel-based company helps health providers dispose medical waste. In the second quarter, Aduromed lost $1.5 million on $500,000 in revenue, closing the quarter with cash of $70,000. Since then, the company has reported raising $4.8 million in new capital from Westport-based Pequot Capital Management Inc. and other investors.
Grisanti previously led sales and marketing at Primavera Systems Inc., a Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based company that provides project-management software to construction companies and developers.
