Hainan Airlines has announced the resumption of its first China-U.S. route since the end of the pandemic.
The airline is offering three round-trip flights every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday between Beijing Capital International Airport and Boston’s Logan International Airport, using Boeing 787-9 wide-body airliners. The outbound flight from Beijing has a duration of approximately 15 hours and 20 minutes while the return flight from Boston includes a brief stop in Seattle and totals 20 hours and 50 minutes.
“Hainan Airlines is meticulously preparing to restore its China-U.S. flight frequency to pre-pandemic levels as swiftly as possible,” said the carrier in a press statement. “This effort aims to provide convenient, high-quality, and safe air transportation services, facilitating cooperation across various sectors between China and the United States.”
