Breeze Airways will be ending its nonstop service between Westchester County Airport and Los Angeles International Airport on Sept. 4.
The startup airline introduced the route last November, making it the first transcontinental service from the White Plains-based airport. According to a report in The Points Guy travel blog, the service is being terminated because “the route required too many crew and aircraft resources [and] the timing of the flights didn’t work well for Breeze’s operation.”
Passengers who had booked flights after Sept. 4 will be provided the option of rebooking on flights from Bradley International Airport in Connecticut or receiving a full refund.
