Fairfield”™s GoodWorks Entertainment Group, a full-service live-entertainment company, has acquired Infinity Music Hall’s Hartford and Norfolk locations.

The Infinity acquisition represents GoodWorks”™ first venture into owning and operating a concert venue. The company said it now has the potential of producing 600 shows a year statewide. A portion of each show”™s proceeds will be donated to a charity.
Infinity first opened in Norfolk in 2008, with the Hartford venue opening in 2014, underwritten in part by $1.8 million in state taxpayer-backed funds.
Owner Tom Hincks said he began seeking a buyer about a year ago, having found it increasingly difficult to divide his time between running the two venues and overseeing his software firm, Farmington”™s Data Management Inc.
