Connecticut painter and illustrator Amy Casazza is the subject of the new exhibition “Flower-Bird-Wind-Moon” at the Fisher Gift Gallery within the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon.
“I have been a maker all my life,” said the artist in a statement on the gallery”™s website. “From childhood, I was always more of a quiet observer and loved to be outside interacting with the natural world. Animals, plant life, and fresh air are my greatest sources of inspiration and where I find a connection to myself. When I am not creating the artwork you see here, you may find me out walking, baking, doodling, planning the spring planting season, or digging in the dirt.”
An opening day reception will be held at the gallery on March 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. More information is available on the gallery”™s website.
