Starwood Energy Group Global LLC has promoted Himanshu Saxena to CEO of Starwood Energy.
Saxena was previously senior managing director and co-head of Starwood Energy Group, a private investment firm focused on energy infrastructure. During his tenure with the Greenwich-based company, he led the acquisition and development of approximately 4,500 MW of power generation and transmission projects in North America, which the company said had an aggregate enterprise value of approximately $5 billion. Prior to joining the company in 2007, he was an investment banker with JPMorgan”™s global energy and utilities group.
Starwood Energy also announced that Brad Nordholm, the other co-head of the business, was promoted to vice chairman.
