M.EAT Organic Beef & Provisions is opening soon at Bedford Square in Westport. Located 
at 29 Church Lane, M.EAT specializes in providing beef and lamb from Uruguay, Argentina, New Zealand and Australia.
The meat market”™s offerings include a burger bar where customers can choose their own grind of meat types, fat content and flavor profiles, as well as a variety of organic cheeses and produce, grilling and seasoning products and kitchen equipment. M.EAT will also carry domestic organic meat and chicken, as well as ingredients from Connecticut farmers and artisans.
M.EAT is owned by Fair Trade International Inc., run by Rodrigo and Maximilliano Echeverrigaray. The company is a member of both the Organic Trade Association and the Meat Importers Council of America.
