Two Roads Brewing Co. in Stratford will hold a “Hops for Hunger” fundraiser to benefit the Connecticut Food Bank on Aug. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event will feature a selection of Two Roads craft beers as well as wine, food from local food trucks, a silent auction, lawn games and music provided by iHeart Radio. A brewery tour will also be available.
Among the auction items are Miranda Lambert concert tickets, jewelry, scuba lessons and fishing charters. Food trucks include gourmet sandwich truck The Meat Truck; Tipsy Cones, an ice cream truck featuring bartender style flavors; and Zuppardi”™s Apizza. In addition to iHeart Radio, Food Truck Row sponsors are TranSigma and Bite Lite.
“Last year, with the help of donors across Connecticut, we were able to distribute enough food to our network of food assistance programs to provide more than 19.2 million meals,” said Connecticut Food Bank Engagement Coordinator Kerri Burgerhoff.
