Eyewear retailer Specs of Fairfield will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new shop at 1555 Post Rd. on July 11 at 5 p.m.
The store, which has been in Fairfield for 30 years, was previously at 2385 Black Rock Tpke.
In 1999, Specs owner Chris Cannella expanded his business to Westport and in 2005 added a location in Darien. Specs”™ philanthropic activities include supporting the Fairfield Theater Company, Eyes for the Needy, Near and Far Aid, Pink Aid, and Norma Pfriem.
