Representatives from IBM, MasterCard and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals will discuss procurement opportunities for small businesses in a panel discussion next month. The program, sponsored by the Women”™s Enterprise Development Center, will be held March 12, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the auditorium at 360 Hamilton Ave., White Plains.
Small businesses with revenue of less than $50 million and fewer than 500 employees are invited to the free presentation.
The panelists will focus on the processes, qualifications, risk assessment criteria, business sector opportunities and marketing tips for small business to use when competing for contracts. The industry representatives also will provide information for companies that qualify for private, state and federal certifications, including minority, women, veteran, veteran disabled and small business designations. Following the presentation, attendees will be able to meet the panelists for one-on-one conversations.
