Hub International Northeast Ltd., a subsidiary of international insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd., has purchased White Plains-based insurance brokerage MMZ Associates Inc.
MMZ’s president, Mark Zettl, will join Hub Northeast as a vice president, and MMZ”™s operation will relocate to Hub Northeast’s Harrison office. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Mark and his team are an energized group of top brokers who we are excited to have join our team,” said Jeff Rubin, senior vice president of Hub Northeast, in a press release announcing the acquisition. “Their expansive book of property and casualty business has national reach and needs that will greatly benefit from Hub’s 200-plus offices throughout the U.S.”
Founded in 1985, MMZ provides insurance products, claims services and risk management programs for clients seeking auto liability and physical damage coverage, as well as workers’ compensation, property, general liability, umbrella and other coverages.
Headquartered in Chicago, Hub International sells property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services through offices in North America. Hub Northeast has 15 locations and more than 650 employees in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
