Ossining Union Free School District has leased 15,000 square feet of space for its new district offices at 400 Executive Blvd. in the Central Westchester Business Park in the town of Ossining.
School administrators are relocating from the district”™s longtime headquarters in the Roosevelt School to open up additional classroom space in the school on Croton Avenue, said commercial broker Jerry Gershner, owner of Gershner Realty Services in Ossining.
Gershner represented the school district in the relocation. He said the new office will allow the district to consolidate several functions in one location while providing space for meetings, professional development and other functions.
Steven Salamone, associate broker at the Houlihan Lawrence Commercial Real Estate Group, represented the building owner, a real estate investment group in Manhattan.
Gershner recently was sole broker in Phelps Memorial Hospital Center”™s lease of 6,600 square feet of space for administrative offices at 47 Hudson St., a 6-acre, 3-building office park in Ossining. The property owner, 47 Hudson Realty L.L.C., is an investment partnership of Ossining real estate investor Daniel Beaton and Anderson Realty Investments of Boston.
