Manhattan-based RFR Realty announced Café oo la la has opened at One Stamford Plaza in downtown Stamford. The restaurant leased approximately 2,000 square feet of retail space for a year.
RFR worked with the tenant in constructing completely new space on the first floor of the One Stamford Plaza atrium.
Margaret Carlson and Steve Lash represented RFR in the transaction negotiations.
RFR Realty owns and manages seven Class-A Stamford office buildings totaling
1.8-million-square-feet. The portfolio includes One, Two, Three and Four Stamford Plaza (about 1 million square feet), 177 Broad St., 300 Atlantic St. and Canterbury Green. Other properties include 375 Park Ave. and 390 Park Ave. (Lever House) and more than 2,000 luxury units in Manhattan, plus holdings in Miami and Las Vegas.
“The addition of Café oo la la brings another great benefit to our tenants at Stamford Plaza,” said Carlson, director of RFR”™s Stamford building portfolio. “While the public will be able to access the restaurant and use the outdoor seating, it”™s quite an amenity to the complex and the employees.”
This marks the second location for Café oo la la, which also operates in the Ridgeway Center Mall in Stamford. The restaurant is owned and operated locally by Faina Yelensky.
The open-all-day restaurant offers a coffee bar, wine and beer, grab-and-go soups, sandwiches and salads. There is also indoor and outdoor seating, plus WiFi and catering services.
