CenturyLink, the nation’s third largest telecommunications company, is relocating its Stamford regional sales office to the MerrittView office building in Norwalk.
Near the intersection of Route 7 and the Merritt Parkway, the MerrittView includes dining facilities, a fitness center and access to the Metro-North Commuter Railroad. The building is owned by Malkin Properties.
CenturyLink, headquartered in Louisiana, employs about 47,000 employees nationwide. The company will occupy about 5,717 square feet in the MerrittView, which Malkin plans to build out for the company. The lease is through 2018.
Jeffrey Newman, Kimberly Zaccagnino and Tara Long represented the landlord in the transaction. Jesse Weber and John Goodkind of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant.
