Indra Nooyi, CEO of Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo Inc. and a Greenwich resident, is the 10th best-paid woman executive in the United States, according to Fortune Magazine based on her 2011 compensation totaling $14.1 million.
Ursula Burns, CEO of Norwalk-based Xerox Corp., ranked 21st with $9.7 million in compensation.
Oracle Corp. CFO Safra Katz was the highest paid executive on the list with pay totaling $51.7 million. She was followed by Wellington Denahan-Norris, vice chairman of New York City-based Annaly Capital Management Inc., at $35 million; and Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook Inc., at $31 million.
