SignStorey Inc. has acquired Captive Audience L.L.C. of Newton, N.J., with both companies operating digital billboards in supermarkets that display information and advertising for shoppers.
The companies did not disclose financial terms. Captive Audience”™s previous owner sold the company last year for $2.4 million.
Captive Audience provides digital media in deli departments of ShopRite and Big Y stores in the tri-state region.
Fairfield-based SignStorey indicated the deal adds up to 250 stores to its 1,400-store network, which already includes Albertson”™s, Shaw”™s, Pathmark and Price Chopper stores.
