Paragon Relocation Resources is relocating its Danbury operations, as well as its Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. headquarters, to Dallas.
The company helps organizations with moving their employees after transfers or acquisitions, including with the home sale and purchase process. Paragon”™s competitors include the Danbury-based Cartus division of Realogy Corp., which is one of Fairfield County”™s largest employers.
Paragon”™s Danbury office is led by Joe Benevides, who is senior vice president of global relocation services for Paragon and chairman of Worldwide ERC, a relocation industry trade group.
All assigned account managers and consultants will remain in Danbury and Rancho Santa Margarita at present; other employees will be encouraged to relocate to Dallas.
“The state of Texas is recognized as the number one business location in the United States for a variety of reasons which includes access to experienced, well-educated relocation professionals,” said Joseph Morabito, CEO of Paragon, in a statement. “Paragon”™s senior management has chosen to implement this move at this time to allow for a proper and well coordinated transition while volume is down to impact the least number of customers and in preparation for future economic recovery.”
