A former worker at tool-maker Pratt-Read Corp. received a six-month jail sentence after sabotaging computers last November while the company was moving its operations from Bridgeport to Shelton.
Priyavrat Patel, a 42-year-old Berlin resident, was accused of deleting files used to start up three computer servers a month after his contract position with the company was eliminated. The company needed two weeks to restore full operations.
A judge ordered Patel to pay $120,000 in restitution, and may impose additional fines.
