Refreshments, including grass-fed beef hamburgers are in store for Earth Day celebrants at the Ulster Savings Bank branch in Gardiner, 2201 Route 44/55, Wednesday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In recognition of Earth Day, the first 50 attendees will receive Colorado blue spruce tree saplings and everyone attending will receive recyclable Ulster Savings Bank grocery bags for carrying groceries and helping the environment at the same time.
Local radio station Mix 97.7FM will broadcast live from the Gardiner branch while in recognition of Teach Children to Save Day (April 21), anyone who registers at one of the bank”™s 14 branches through Friday, May 29, will have the chance to win a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond. No account relationship is necessary to enter this drawing. The child must be 18 years old or younger to enter.
