Burke Rehabilitation® welcomed a record number of runners, walkers and adaptive athletes at its 2026 Heels & Wheels 5K and Kids Fun Run Sunday, April 12. Hosted on the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital campus in White Plains, New York, the event brought together participants of all abilities in a supportive, inclusive environment. Athletes ages 2 – 86 took part in the 5K and Kids Fun Run, while community members cheered them on during a day reflecting a shared community spirit that advances the Burke mission.
