
HAMDEN – Deleo Construction has purchased a mixed-use building and single-family home at 2581 State St. for $600,000 from CF Jams LLC, according to Vidal Wettenstein LLC, the agent for the transaction.
The property was appraised by the Town of Hamden in 2024 at $301,000 and taxes on the property are $10,767, according to property records. It was previously owned by Frank Furino who transferred the property to CF Jams LLC in 2006. There are two existing buildings on one lot of 0.42 acres. One building is an auto repair shop which is 1,570 square feet, and the other is a 1,242-square-foot single-family home.
The new owner will use the automotive repair shop to store equipment and trucks; the house is being converted to an office use. The shop is deemed 60% “good,” while the single-family home was deemed 72% “good.”
