Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam held its Dream Big Gala at the Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase on Oct. 24. Former CEO and Bedford resident, Valerie Brown, was honored for her nearly 10 years of service. Mentors Anoop Kumar and Giovanni Kaso were named the 2024 Match of the Year, which signifies a successful mission to create and support one-to-one volunteer mentoring matches that ignite the power and promise of youth.
