Circle of Care for families of children with cancer has appointed Bill Allan, regional director, Hudson Valley for Consigli Construction Company Inc., and Ken Wisdom, senior advisor and former head of Portfolio Advisors Real Estate, to its Board of Directors. Both bring unique personal and professional experiences that will further strengthen the nonprofit’s mission of supporting families of children with cancer.
Allan, a cancer survivor, brings not only his professional experience in managing health-care projects but also a deep personal connection to the cause, as he understands firsthand the challenges families face during a cancer diagnosis. His leadership will be instrumental as Circle of Care continues to expand into Westchester County through its partnership with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Circle of Care supports families of children with cancer through financial, practical and emotional assistance. Over the past 20 years, it has helped more than 3,600 families in Connecticut and the surrounding areas through programs such as emergency financial assistance and day-of-diagnosis care.
