John Slater has joined Connecticut Community Bank N.A. as vice president, director of retail banking.
He brings 17 years of banking experience to expand the capability and reach of the bank’s branch network focusing on the needs of small businesses and customer relationships. He will develop and implement all strategic initiatives of the bank’s retail banking operations, including branch network management, product development and customer service.

Prior to joining Connecticut Community Bank, Slater was director of retail banking at Patriot Bank and has held various positions there and at Fairfield County Bank. He is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Housatonic Community College.
