Nuvance Health Care’s hospitals across both Fairfield and Westchester Counties were recognized by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for demonstrating excellence in complying with the Get With The Guidelines awards for stroke services.
Danbury Hospital achieved Get With The Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus, Target: Stroke and Target: Type 2 Diabetes while Norwalk Hospital earned slightly higher rankings and made the Stroke Gold Plus, Target: Stroke Elite Honor Roll and also made the honor roll for the Target: Type 2 Diabetes category.
Sharon Hospital, and all three of Nuvance’s Westchester County hospitals including Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Putnam Hospital and Northern Duchess Hospital all earned high marks on stroke care.
