The year 2024 looks to be a big one for the Delamar Hotel Collection, founded in 2000 by Charles Mallory after a successful career in the shipping industry. Fueled by his passion for hospitality, the group will add Delamars in Westport and Mystic, Connecticut. But that’s all for delicious anticipation. In the meantime, you can savor the holiday season at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor, the Delamar Southport and the Delamar West Hartford:
At all three locations
Relax at the spa
Who couldn’t use a little pampering, especially at the new Delamar Southport Spa? The Energy of the Glacier facial by Valmont, the luxe Swiss skincare and fragrance company, is designed to revitalize skin by stimulating cell oxygenation, thus dispelling any sign of fatigue. For optimal plumping, there’s an application of medical-grade collagen. Book this treatment at any of the three Delamar spa locations and receive a 10% discount through Sunday, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve.
Count down the year
New Year’s Eve at the Delamars is a curated experience that begins with complimentary parking and a bit of the bubbly before you settle into deluxe accommodations for two that feature more Champagne, chocolate truffles and bath products by Bulgari. Extend your escape with a leisurely late checkout (1 p.m.) on New Year’s Day – Monday, Jan. 1 – or opt for an extended stay until Tuesday, Jan. 2, for special savings.
At the Delamar Greenwich Harbor
Enjoy a tasting experience at Salon BE Chocolat, a new addition to the lobby. The experience pairs the confections of Benoit Racquet, the only Belgian master chocolatier on the East Coast, and Mionetto Rosé Prosecco. To reserve a tasting experience, call 203-992-4150 or visit.
At the Delamar Southport
At the Artisan Southport – which like L’escale, the Delamar Greenwich Harbor’s signature restaurant, and the Artisan West Hartford is helmed by executive chef Frederic Kieffer – there’s a first-seating dinner from 5 to 7 p.m., offering an array of à la carte options. The Gala Dinner & Dance starts at 8:30 p.m. with a five-course, prix-fixe menu, priced at $185 per person.
What’s even better than Champagne to celebrate? A Holiday Delamargarita (also available at the Artisan West Hartford. See below.) A portion of the proceeds from each Delamargarita sold will be donated to The Village, a nonprofit dedicated to underserved children and families in Greater Hartford.
At the Delamar West Hartford
The Artisan West Hartford does New Year’s Eve a bit differently with an à la carte first seating from 5 to 7 p.m. and the five-course gala dinner and dancing from 8 to 10 p.m. $160 per person.
Meanwhile, the Hot Cocoa Bar, with a variety of rich, velvety drinks, helps you while away wintry days.
